So how can you make sure your readers’ E-A-T are only the best? Here are a few tips to get you started.
What is E-A-T in SEO?
E-A-T stands for “Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness”. It’s a set of guidelines that Google uses to evaluate the quality of your content. In order to rank well in search results, your content must meet these three criteria.
Expertise: Is your content written by an expert on the topic? Do you have experience or credentials that give you the authority on the subject?
Authoritativeness: Is your content well-researched and accurate? Are you a reliable source of information?
Trustworthiness: Is your content unbiased and objective? Do you have any hidden agendas or ulterior motives?

How to improve your E-A-T?
1- Include relevant resources:
If you want to show that your content is authoritative and trustworthy, include links to relevant resources. This could be anything from other websites to research studies or whitepapers. By including external sources, you’re not only providing valuable information for your readers, but you’re also showing that you’re well-informed on the subject.
Make sure to only include high-quality resources from reliable sources, or your content could lose credibility.
In an article about the benefits of meditation, I might include a link to a study conducted by the National Institutes of Health. This shows that I’m knowledgeable about the topic and that I’m providing my readers with accurate information.
You can also include internal links to other articles on your website. This is a great way to keep readers engaged and on your site for longer periods. Not to mention, it’s also good for your SEO!
2- Audit your content:
Take a close look at your existing content and see if it meets the criteria for E-A-T. Ask yourself if it’s well-written, accurate, and objective. If not, make the necessary changes or consider removing it altogether. It’s better to have a smaller amount of high-quality content than a large amount of low-quality content.
You can also use Google’s Search Console to get insights into how your site is performing in search results. This tool will show you any errors or issues that need to be fixed.

3- Moderate UGC:
What is UGC?
UGC stands for “user-generated content” and refers to anything that’s been created by your users, such as reviews, comments, or social media posts.
If you have any user-generated content on your site (comments, forum posts, etc.), make sure to moderate it. This will help ensure that all the content is high-quality and in line with your brand voice. NO TROLLS!
Allowing low-quality or inappropriate content on your site can damage your reputation and make you seem untrustworthy. If you can’t moderate UGC yourself, consider using a plugin or third-party service.
If you want to rank well in Google search results, you need to focus on E-A-T. This means creating high-quality content that’s written by experts, is accurate and trustworthy, and is easy to use.
